Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how LynqUp processes personal data of mobile app users, partner store owners and staff, and visitors of lynq-up.rs. By using LynqUp services, you accept the practices described in this document.
1. Who we are
LynqUp is a loyalty platform connecting customers and local stores in Serbia. Our services include the mobile app (Android, iOS coming soon), website, and management tools for partners.
For privacy questions, contact us at support@lynq-up.rs.
2. Data we collect
Account data: name, email address, date of birth, role (customer, store owner, staff, admin), password in encrypted form, and sign-in information.
Purchase and loyalty data: scanned fiscal receipts (QR code and receipt data), points earned, transaction history, redeemed rewards, challenge participation, point sharing, and birthday rewards.
Partner data: store name, tax ID (PIB), city, category, contact details, store profile, rewards and promotions catalog, marketing campaigns, visit and transaction analytics, and staff assigned to the store.
Technical data: device type, app version, language settings, push notification token, and basic logs required for security and maintenance.
Website data: email address and newsletter consent, messages sent via contact or partnership forms, and basic visit data (cookies necessary for site operation).
3. How we use data
We use data to create and maintain your account, process scanned receipts, assign and track points, enable reward redemption, and send notifications about offers.
We enable partners to manage loyalty programs, verify redeemed rewards, send marketing messages to members, and review business analytics.
We may use data to respond to inquiries, send service notices, prevent abuse (e.g. duplicate scans), improve the platform, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Receipt scanning and manual review
We primarily process the QR code from fiscal receipts through the official fiscal system (SUF). Stores are matched by tax ID (PIB) on the receipt.
If the QR code is unreadable, you may enter the fiscal receipt details for manual review. Those details are used solely to process that request.
Each receipt can only be scanned once. Duplicates are automatically rejected.
5. Legal basis for processing
We process data based on contract performance (using the app and loyalty program), your consent (newsletter and marketing where required), legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention, service improvement), and legal obligations.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your data to third parties. We share it only when necessary: with partner stores within the loyalty program (e.g. your name, points, and history at that store), with hosting, email, and analytics providers that help us operate the platform, and with authorities when required by law.
Partners must use member data only for the loyalty program and in compliance with applicable regulations.
7. Data retention
We retain data while you have an active account or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize data within a reasonable period unless law requires longer retention.
8. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures to protect data, including password encryption, access controls, and secure communication. However, no system is completely risk-free — please keep your credentials safe and notify us of suspicious activity.
9. Your rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, object to processing, and data portability where applicable.
You can disable marketing notifications in app settings or unsubscribe from the newsletter. For other requests, email support@lynq-up.rs.
10. Children
LynqUp is not intended for children under 15. If we learn we collected a child’s data without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
Our standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation are published on the Child safety page (lynq-up.rs/en/child-safety). Report concerns to support@lynq-up.rs or in the app: Settings → Child safety.
11. Policy changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app, email, or a notice on the website. The last update date is shown at the top of this document.
